Satcol, the trading arm of The Salvation Army is using a ground breaking automated, advanced sorting system to help recycle and reuse more items of clothing, creating more opportunities for garments to be repurposed and diverted from landfill in an effort to reduce the environmental
impact of textiles. The automated materials recovery facility reprocesses clothing and other items no longer in a condition that can be reused.

Our works comprised of:

  • Installation of copper, steel, and stainless steel pipework
  • Installation of H&C, AGD pipework, valves and lagging
  • Installation of new water booster, packaged chiller and air compressor
  • Installation of ducting, air conditioning and ventilation units
  • Chilled water pipework
  • Compressed air pipe work
  • Testing and commissioning
